Located at the corner of 22nd & Ellsworth Streets, covering the west face of a private row-house, this Keith Haring Mural is a community and Philadelphia treasure.

“We the Youth” was originally created by pop artist Keith Haring in collaboration with children from CityKids Philadelphia and New York, in partnership with the Brandywine Workshop in 1987.

In 2013 it was restored thanks to The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and the Keith Haring Foundation, with a small garden being installed in the area below the mural.

"We The Youth" features many of Haring's signature dancing figures in eye-poppingly bright colors, and is the only collaborative public mural by the artist that is still intact and at its original site.
